First project

my book "War of the Outcasts" and its illustrations

- Text: finished, but adjustments always in progress, 41 pages A4 wrote in Arial 11; here's an image of my Google Docs file:

-Characters sheets: 4 of 5 finished.

-Initial image: done; it will fit two pages, the fourth and the fifth in my mind. Or it can be also the cover image? I haven't decided yet...

La Guerra degli Emarginati

...and something else

-17 illustrations for the chapters, sadly, all are in sketch phase for now. I'm trying to study them as good as possible. There are some old illustrations I can use, but they're too old in some cases and I don't want style differences...

-Some illustrations have some problems and I can't use them; first that, I used some references not mine and I don't want to pay for use that commercially +_+ I'm sorry 'cause I won my first Daily Deviation with that, but I'm also a poor girl!

For this I used a reference on DeviantArt by Armathor-stock.
LUNA MONTERO is the model and FABIOLA VARGAS is the photographer.

-This illustration is optimal for the cover for its horizontal construction and focal point in the second half, but has some bugs I don't like (it's 5 years old, poor thing!) and something doesn't fit anymore with the story (the clothes of the girl), so if I want to use it I must do a refresh. But I wasted sweat and blood with these details (especially the city and the rocks) so maybe it can deserve a chance.

I'm an oldie!

-Finally, the comic.  I thought it would be an interesting incipit if I start with some comic pages and an action scene. Maybe it can be strange with the classic impact I'd like for the book, but making it with my usual technique (watercolors and pencils) that I'll use also for the chapter illustrations I think it can fit in well.
Four pages, first is almost done.

And that's all for now (march 2017)!
